Technical Overview

Sector can find local information in three ways:

  1. By GPS Coordinates.  This is a high precision method, especially useful for mobile applications that can easily access GPS coordinates.
  2. By Street Address.  This is a moderate/high precision method,  great for handling information from customers who have made purchases, or have otherwise provided location information.
  3. By IP Address.  This is moderate/low precision method, primarily useful for web applications.

Sector takes that location information along with what information you’re looking for, and what level of detail you want, and instantly gives you the information you require.
